What it means to give a "Role"

Each person has a role to play, whether it’s a parent, sibling, child, or a lawyer, doctor, teacher. Within those roles, there are certain expectations of how a person would act. It’s a soft-template, meaning it’s possible to act outside of what the role is, but there’s a general direction of it. When it comes to using AI, it becomes something that helps.

The Anatomy of a Role

Having a role means designating what actions, duties, or permissions someone has, whether it’s for organizational, or social, or operational purposes. For example, my role is to be a marketer. I have expectations that I would do marketing tasks within that role. I won’t be expected to step into engineering to take on those tasks.
